Foxx: 'Gibson Has To Make Things Right'

Jamie Foxx has served up a clear message to disgraced movie star Mel Gibson after an expletive-laden phone rant aimed at his ex-girlfriend was leaked to the media - "You've got to make things right".

The Oscar winner admits he is among many Gibson fans who are outraged by the content of the taped audio, which features derogatory references to African-Americans.

Foxx tells news show Entertainment Tonight that, coupled with anti-Semitic comments Gibson has apologized for in the past, the movie star/director owes a lot of people an explanation.

The Ray star says, "It's tough when you hear those messages from Mel Gibson... It's tough for blacks, it's tough for Jews. I still love his work... It's just he has to make things right."
